Rolex Ref. 6241 Cosmograph Daytona Paul Newman Vintage 1969 features a Solid 14kt Gold Three-body polished and brushed case with a screwed-down case back and crown. The tachometer graduation on the bezel to 200 units per hour. Extremely Unique Bi-color champagne dial has lemony yellow overtones and black subdials with applied square yellow gold indexes and luminous dots, outer 1/5th seconds track, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers. It features Luminous yellow-gold baton hands. This magnificent original untouched champagne dial with lemony overtones, features applied golden hour markers, contrasting black color subdials with guilloche and golden baton hands. Fitted on its original Rolex 14k riveted Oyster bracelet with foldover deployant buckle.

The unique original manual winding Rolex Caliber 722-1 movement is rhodium-plated and consists of 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to three positions and with column wheel construction, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws.

This magnificent original untouched champagne dial with lemony overtones, features applied golden hour markers, contrasting black color subdials with guilloche and golden baton hands.

The 6241 reference is very similar to its 6239 predecessors in most respects. But, an oddity to this model is that it was available with pump pushers or screw-down chronograph buttons. It is also this model that the word "Daytona" makes its debut on the dial, and still takes up prominent residence there to this very day! Collectors seem to prefer this model, as they are rarer than the 6239, so expect them to command a better price than its older cousins, the 6240 and 6239.
